09/03/08 – New LSG Top Ten Polls

Week Zero is in the books and it is time to adjust the LSG Top Ten polls. FYI… the number in parenthesis (#) is the team’s rank from the previous week. One of the big surprises was that Katy dropped all the way out of the top ten for 5A despite a pretty darn close loss to Galena Park North Shore. Rest assured though, they are just barely out of the top and I expect they will move back up once a few other teams add a loss to their record. In 4A, only the bottom three are new after a few upsets. 3A was easily the most solid as all of our top ten took home a win and something like 17 or so of or top 20 walked out with wins. Both 2A and 1A experienced a lot volatility, but the top couple in each class remained solid.
