Canyon Randall Gets New Coach

Class 4A Canyon Randall has named Bryan Wood as their new head coach. Wood comes to Randall from 1A Sunray where he has been their head coach 7 of the last 8 years. He has an overall record at Sunray of 68-21.

The one year he was not at Sunray was when he went to 4A Pampa for one year before deciding to come back to Sunray. His one year in Pampa was a 5-5 record.

Wood takes over a Randall program that has won back-to-back District 3-4A championships. The Raiders have gone 17-5 over the last two seasons. He will be taking over for Ken Plunk who took the job at Amarillo Tascosa three weeks ago.
