Colleyville Heritage State Qualifying Tournament Pools

Here are the pools, breakdowns and of course my predictions for the Colleyville Heritage State Qualifying Tournament this weekend.

Pool A: Colleyville Heritage, Arlington Bowie, Saginaw, Fort Worth Paschal

The host Colleyville Heritage went 0-3 last week but you can never count them out. They will be led by WR Jake Skinner. Arlington Bowie has already qualified going 5-0 at the SQT they hosted. Fort Worth Paschal went 2-1 last week and will be a tough out. Saginaw will try to keep things close.

Mike's Pick: Colleyville Heritage

Pool B: Mansfield Summit, Irving MacArthur, Flower Mound, North Crowley

Irving MacArthur will have a ton of talent in RB James Sims (4.55 speed 1141 rushing yards in 2008, DB Ray Mitchell and 3 star commitment to Rice WR Tevin Thompson. Flower Mound will highlight DB Steven Sumpler while Mansfield Summit and North Crowley will both bring competitive teams.

Mike's Pick: Irving MacArthur

Pool C: Hurst Bell, Saginaw Boswell, Arlington Martin, Abilene Cooper

Saginaw Boswell went 3-1 and made the Semis last week at Arlington Bowie. They will be led by RB Dante Lipscomb. Arlington Martin went 1-2 last week while Abilene Cooper went 3-1 making the Semis at Round Rock Westwood. Cooper will rely on WR Tommy Bowman. Hurst Bell will have a tough time.

Mike's Pick: Abilene Cooper

Pool D: Birdville, Southlake Carroll, Keller, Duncanville

Birdville went 2-1 last week. Southlake Carroll makes their first SQT appearance and will be led by DB Kacy Rodgers and LB Mitchell Osborne. Keller will feature WR Dillon Farley. Duncanville went 2-1 last week and will showcase DB Estean Freeman.

Mike's Pick: Southlake Carroll
