4-1A
#7 Wellington (6-0) (2-0) 356-38
#24 Wheeler (6-0) (2-0) 255-45
#20 Clarendon (5-1) (2-0) 289-89
#125 Memphis (2-5) (0-2) 115-204
#111 Quanah (1-6) (0-2) 118-210
#161 Shamrock (0-7) (0-2) 48-313

Key Game: #20 Clarendon vs. #24 Wheeler

Notes: The three favorites is this district are all 2-0. It will now be a shootout for the district title as they play each other during these last few weeks. We will be keeeping an eye on this district for sure. This weeks key game will probably be for 2nd and 3rd place. Wellington is a very good team outscoring their opponents 356-38 so far.

19-2A
#3 Arp (7-0) (2-0) 341-76
#11 West Rusk (6-0) (2-0) 176-32
#80 Garrison (5-2) (1-1) 187-127
#33 Frankston (4-4) (1-1) 169-164
#105 Troup (1-6) (0-2) 116-246
#178 Elkhart (1-6) (0-2) 80-176

Key Game: #3 Arp vs. #33 Frankston

Notes: The tale of the tape here is that each of these teams played #9 1A Alto in their pre-district schedules. Arp won 35-0 while Frankston lost 13-18. With that in mind, Arp should win easily (their closest game was decided by 17 points) but Frankston did knock off the pre-season 1A #1 team Cayuga 33-26 in Week 0. West Rusk is the other contender in this district. If things go accourding to plan, Arp and West Rusk will remain undefeated and there will be a 3-way tie for 3rd with Garrison, Frankston and the winner of the Troup/Elkhart game all with 1-2 district records. Arp and West Rusk will play each other in the last week of the season to probably determine the district champion.

12-3A
#10 Kennedale (7-0) (2-0) 329-73
#62 Ferris (4-3) (1-1) 230-160
#65 Crandall (4-3) (1-1) 123-131
#55 Kaufman (3-4) (1-1) 172-173
#77 Alvarado (3-4) (1-1) 158-157
#130 Venus (4-3) (0-2) 123-218

Key Game: #10 Kennedale vs. #55 Kaufman

Notes: Kennedale is by far the favorite in this district. The fun will be watching the next 4 teams (ranked 55-77 all with 1-1 district records) fight it out for those last 2 playoff spots.

24-3A
#42 Caldwell (5-1) (3-0) 224-83
#13 Rockdale (7-1) (3-1) 201-97
#8 Navasota (6-1) (2-1) 208-75
#84 Madisonville (4-4) (2-2) 150-173
#47 Cameron Yoe (4-3) (1-2) 209-177
#110 Taylor (4-3) (1-2) 214-179
#155 Bryan Rudder (1-6) (0-4) 119-208

Key Game: #13 Rockdale vs. #42 Caldwell

Notes: Caldwell has been the surprise of the district so far with their 14-0 win over Navasota. With a win this week it will cement their playoff spot. Navasota and Rockdale were the pre-season favorites in this district with Caldwell and Cameron Yoe fighting for that 3rd playoff position.

25-3A
#4 Sealy (7-0) (2-0) 307-114
#19 La Grange (7-0) (2-0) 242-102
#6 Giddings (6-1) (1-1) 221-87
#51 Smithville (5-2) (1-1) 274-179
#28 Bellville (4-3) (0-2) 154-127
#98 Columbus (4-3) (0-2) 181-187

Key Games: #4 Sealy vs. #51 Smithville and #6 Giddings vs. #19 La Grange

Notes: A couple of pretty good teams will not make the playoffs out of this district. Smithville and Bellville are on the outside looking in right now. La Grange has been the surprise team so far and we will see if their can keep it going against #6 Giddings this week. What would be fun is if La Grange and Bellville win this week which would create a 3-way tie for 3rd between Giddings, Smithville and Bellville all at 1-2.

10-4A
#6 Dallas Highland Park (6-1) (4-0) 328-160
#9 Richardson Pearce (5-2) (3-1) 345-239
#22 Rockwall-Heath (5-2) (3-1) 205-158
#27 Carrollton Smith (5-2) (3-1) 271-162
#62 Rockwall (4-3) (2-2) 237-218
#133 Greenville (4-3) (1-3) 222-235
#185 Royse City (0-7) (0-4) 136-281
#234 Carrollton Turner (0-7) (0-4) 70-338

Key Game: #9 Richardson Pearce vs. #22 Rockwall-Heath

Notes: The 4 favorites are currently at the top of this district. This is a key week with the Key game being between 2nd and 3rd place and the #4 team playing the #5 team ( Carrollton Smith vs. Rockwall). A Rockwall loss will almost nail it down to which 4 teams will make the playoffs out of this district. Dallas Highland Park is the front runner for the district title with wins over Richardson Pearce and Carrollton Smith.

16-4A
#25 Waxahachie (7-0) (4-0) 299-130
#7 Waco Hewitt Midway (6-1) (3-1) 209-99
#143 Cleburne (5-2) (2-2) 184-134
#32 Ennis (4-3) (2-2) 226-198
#123 Waco University (4-3) (2-2) 173-169
#134 Corsicana (3-4) (2-2) 204-220
#149 Waco (1-6) (1-3) 158-248
#213 Midlothian (1-6) (0-4) 181-226

Key Game: #7 Waco Hewitt Midway vs. #32 Ennis

Notes: Waco Hewitt Midway loss to Corsicana 3 weeks ago was the biggest upset in district play so far but Midway still has a chance at the district championship. They are currently in 2nd place with a 3-1 record and will play undefeated Waxahachie in the last week of the season for what might be the district championship. Despite so many injuries, Ennis is still hanging tough and are tied with 3 other teams at 2-2. Midway, Waxahachie and Ennis are the favorites here. Ennis has lost to Waco and Waxahachie but should still make the playoffs. The fight for that last spot will be fun to watch.

4-5A
#25 Arlington Bowie (6-1) (3-0) 232-111
#16 Arlington (6-2) (3-1) 282-145
#66 Arlington Martin (4-3) (2-1) 228-189
#72 Arlington Lamar (5-3) (2-2) 236-258
#192 Arlington Sam Houston (3-5) (1-3) 213-308
#219 Mansfield Summit (2-5) (1-3) 180-254
#115 Mansfield (1-6) (0-3) 122-207

Key Game: #16 Arlington vs. #25 Arlington Bowie

Notes: The key game this week should be for the district title even though Arlington Martin got the upset win over Arlington earlier this year. Arlington, Bowie, Martin and Lamar should be the teams in the playoffs,.
