Plano West will be the host of this SQT. Here are the pools, players to watch and of course our predictions. Jay Darneal who has coached a 7-on-7 team 7 consecutive years to the state tournament, been a coach, officiated, written, broadcasted, and played football will pick with us!!
Pool A: Plano West, Coppell, Wylie East, Red Oak
Coppell has already qualified for the state tournament at Frisco Liberty. Wylie East has gone 1-5 in SQt play this year while Plano West and Red Oak will be playing in their first SQT. Plano West will feature RB Kameron Haddock and LB Nathan Broussard. Red Oak will bring some good talent in QB James Satterwhite, RB Jeremi Lewis and WR Ishmael Harrison 31-373 1 TD.

Pool B: Frisco Liberty, Duncanville, Dallas Jesuit, Dallas White
Duncanville has gone 2-1 in SQT play while Dallas Jesuit has gone 0-3 and both Frisco Liberty and Dallas White have gone 1-2. Duncanville will be led by QB Divan Ealy 355 yards rushing 1283 yards 14 TDS passing and WR Jalen Park. Frisco Liberty will show off two pretty good WR's in Cameron Brown 20-202 3 TD Rec. and Malcolm Hill.

Pool C: Lewisville, Richardson Lake Highlands, Plano East, Sherman
Lewisville has gone 2-3 in SQT play this year while Plano East has a 1-2 record. Richardson Lake Highlands and Sherman will both be playing in their first SQT this year. Richardson Lake Highlands will feature RB/WR Desmond Roland 1216 yards 12 TDs rushing 27-492 6 TDs receiving and WR Trevante Ebron. Plano East will bring RB Martin Terrance, WR Ryan Garrey, LB Sam Trotter and DB Lyndell Johnson 72 tackles 3 INTs 4 PB. Sherman will counter with QB Thor Long and RB Zach Whitfield 1119 yards 12 TDs rushing 332 yards 1 TD receiving.

Pool D: Lewisville Hebron, Rockwall, Allen, Carrollton Turner
Lewisville Hebron has a 4-2 SQT record falling in the semifinals at Frisco Liberty. Rockwall, Allen and Carrollton Turner will all be playing in their first SQT this season. Lewisville Hebron will once again be loaded with talent with QB Kyle Aubuchon, RB Devin Flynn 898 yards 5 TDs rushing, WR JR Kiante' Griffin, WR Kurt Walker, LB Lawrence Varnado and DB David Jenkins 27 tackles 2 INTs. Rockwall will feature RB Josh Broach 1420 yards 21 TDs. Allen of course will also bring the athletes and will be led by QB Blake Boyd, RB Kyree Owens, RB Paul Walker, WR Jay Lee 53-1013 16 TDs receiving Committed to Baylor, LB Melvin Spears and DB Blake Westback.
