The Spartans will be moving down to Class 4A for the first time since 1979 this season. They are on a 4 year winning streak and should continue that with the drop in classification. They will rely on a good secondary to keep them in the district title hunt against Brenham and Montgomery. Expect the Spartans to go 6-4 or 7-3 in the regular season and then go one or two rounds into the playoffs.
