Notes:
The Panthers missed the playoffs last season and they had their first losing season since 2001. Coach Vance will be reminding his 21 returning lettermen about this fact before they begin play in 2010. Look for them to get back on the winning side of things this season but with a 6-4 or 7-3 regular season record and expect them to only go one or two rounds in the playoffs. With the new alignment they have moved form Region 1 to Region 4.

History:
2009 ended 7 CONSECUTIVE WINNING SEASONS which were also 10+ win seasons
2009 was first losing season under Vance (since 2001)
Before Vance only 11 of the schools 65 years were winning years
All-Time Record 271-381-24 41.86% 676 games

Championship History: (2) 2-0
2006 3A Division II - Liberty Hill 22, Celina 19
2007 3A Division I - Liberty Hill 38, Gilmer 13
