Kerrville Tivy QB Manziel Breaks State Record

Johnny Manziel the superstar quarterback for Kerrville Tivy broke the state record last Friday night (09/03/10) for passes attempted in a game. Manziel finished the night completing 41 of 75 passes for 503 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also rushed for 78 yards and scored another touchdown.

The 75 pass attempts breaks the record of 73 previously held by Koy Detmer of Mission vs. Aldine in 1990. His 41 completions puts him into a tie for 10th all-time with Chance Wallace, Canton vs. Kemp, 2009 and Koy Detmer, Mission vs. Aldine, 1990.
