Wylie was one of my defensive coaches at Sweeny High School, 2001-2002. Jack was a great motivator and very sharp coach. He not only helped build athletes on the gridiron, he also helped me strongly my junior year at the time of my father’s death. He kept me busy in the summer, mowing and making extra money. He kept my mind clear and pushed for me not give up on school after my dad passed. He referred to my name a lot during the offseason as an example of a person who keeps fighting, considering the cards i was dealt at the age of 17. After my senior year of football, Jack took another coaching job elsewhere. He made one last appearrance at my high school graduation in May 2003. I never saw him again. He helped form the man I am today, and i carry his words close to me. I always wanted to say Thank You. God Bless you Coach Wylie “Hubba Hubba Ding Dong”. Thank You Sir, Curtiss Berry
