Notes:
The Ricebirds are one of class 4A's smallest schools. Their enrollment is 991 which is more than 1000 less than district rival Rosenberg Lamar. It will be hard to duplicate last year undefeated regular season but the schedule lines up for them to make that possible again. Hunt may be one of the best linemen in the state. If you have never been to a high school football game in a while then go to the El Campo/Bay City game. Get there early and you will see two great rivals go at it in front of an overflow crowd.
