Austin Lake Travis began their drive for a fifth consecutive state 4A Championship with an impressive win over Austin Westlake 35-7.
The Lake Travis Cavaliers backup quarterback Baker Mayfield came into the game in the 2nd quarter after the starter went down and threw for almost 300 yards to lead the way. 17,423 fans went to Royal-Memorial Stadium to see this latest edition of the Great Lake Showdown.
Austin Lake Travis now leads the series 4-1 vs. Austin Westlake since 2006.
