CLASS 1A CHAMPIONSHIP PREDICTIONS

Here is how LSG predicts the 2011 season will end.

Division I: Clarksville will be the surprise of 2011 after going 7-5 in 2010. They will fall to Canadian in the semifinals but they will all have a great story to tell. Garrison will make their 2nd consecutive trip to the semifinals and will come up short against Ganado after losing to Goldthwaite last season. In the Championship game, Ganado will will make their first trip in history after losing in the semifinals in 2008 and 2009 to a Traylon Shead led Cayuga team. Meeting the Indians will be a tough Canadian team who should win their third championship in the last five years.

Region I Champion: Canadian Wildcats

Region II Champion: Clarksville Tigers

Region III Champion: Garrison Bulldogs

Region IV Champion: Ganado Indians

Championship : Canadian Wildcats win over the Ganado Indians

Division II: Falls City will fall just short of getting a championship game rematch with Windthorst. Tenaha will take their place and play in their first championship game since 1998. They will also get their second shot at Windthorst in a championship game. They lost to the Trojans in 1996 41-12. Windthorst will make it all the way this year after losing to Falls City last year. It will be the Trojans 6th championship appearance. Wellington will be the other regional champ after going 39-5 over the previous 3 seasons.

Region I Champion: Wellington Skyrockets

Region II Champion: Windthorst Trojans

Region III Champion: Tenaha Tigers

Region IV Champion: Falls City Beavers

Championship: Windthorst Trojans win over Tenaha Tigers
