Mike Says: The Mustangs are always fun to watch and this year is no different. They stumbled a little out of the gate this year but QB Jordan Wood has come in after an injury to the starting QB and has done a good job. Their primary offensive weapon is RB Johnathan Johnson while DB Matt Wallace heads up the defense. Dawson has not been tested all year. Their closest game is a 20 point victory over a pretty good 5A team in Clear Springs (who just defeated Pearland High). They will not be tested again as they win in big fashion. The EAGLES win 40-20!!!

Chris Says: I believe this is the first time we have listed Pearland Dawson in a Game of the Week and for my money, its way overdue.  Friendswood has been here many times over the years, but Dawson hasn't been playing varsity football very long at all.   In that time however, the Eagles have made a lot of people stand up and take notice.  Dawson is on an upswing and Friendswood a bit of a downswing and that trend doesn't look good for the Mustangs.  The Pearland Dawson Eagles will continue their winning ways and take this one 35-20!!!
