Ganado @ East Bernard

Ganado 21, East Bernard 20

#1 1A Division I Ganado scored a late touchdown to beat previously undefeated 2A Division II East Bernard 21-20. Ganado's star running back Josh Labay was again the star for the Indians. He had an amazing 46 carries for 199 yards and 3 touchdowns. East Bernard led in the 4th quarter 20-13. The Indians then went on a 17 play 69 yard drive taking up 8 minutes and 47 seconds to score a touchdown with only 2:59 remaining. They decided to go for two and Labay took it over to give Ganado the 21-20 lead. They held on from there.

Labay now has 573 yards rushing and 7 touchdowns in their first three games.

Shiner @ Schulenburg

Schulenburg 21, Shiner 14

Schulenburg quarterback Kyle Bludau scored 3 touchdowns to lead the #2 2A Division II shorthorns to a 21-14 over 1A powerhouse Shiner. Bludau's final touchdown came with a little more than 7 minutes left in the game. Schulenburg now leads the series 10-6 since 1994.
