Ingleside’s McHugh Twins Lead Them To Victory

The McHugh twins (Matt and David) turned things around with a trick play to lead Ingleside to a 58-38 victory over Beeville Jones. Beeville had just taken a 32-21 lead before Ingleside pulled a play out of their bag of tricks.

Matt McHugh began to return the ensuing kickoff when he stopped an threw it to his brother David on the other side of the field. David then took it the rest of the 93 yards. From their the Mustangs from Ingleside outscrored the Trojans from Beeville Jones 29-6 to earn the victory.

The Mustangs are now 3-0 on the season scoring a whopping 178 points (59.33 avg) during those 3 games. Their toughest challenge to a perfect season will be a 3 game stretch at the end of October. They will be @Sinton, Vs. Mathis and then @Rockport-Fulton.

Wide Receiver David McHugh finished the game with 3 catches for 64 yards and 1 TD. For his career, he now has 2,293 yards receiving. That puts him at #99 on the all-time receiving yards list.
