Mike Says: Alamo Heights faced a tough pre-district schedule full of 5A teams. They are undefeated in district play but they only won their last 2 games by a total of 7 points. Smithson Valley has been very impressive this year with wins over Odessa Permian, San Antonio Wagner and New Braunfels Canyon. The Mules are not as strong as they have been in the past. They are always well coached and will play till the end but the Rangers are too good. The RANGERS win 28-21!!!

Chris Says: Smithson Valley has been a juggernaut for years.  San Antonio Alamo Heights has been an on-again, off-again power for the past decade.    When I sat down with Head Coach Larry Hill, he mentioned this game as an important one in the district and the Rangers will have to take it serious to reach their goal of another district title.  The Mules are not going to roll over and hand it to them, but QB Parker Mckenzie and the Smithson Valley RANGERS will get the win 27-19!!!
