Lufkin Panthers Head Coach John Outlaw Passes Away

The Lufkin Panthers head coach John Outlaw was pronounced dead this morning (12/23/11).  He was 58 years old.

Coach Outlaw was a true coaching legend having been the head coach at Lufkin since 1995 and leading them to  an all-time record of 162-46-1.   He also coached at Sherman from 1988-1994 leading them to a 57-21 record.  Before that he coached in Arkansas.

He will be missed.
