Mike Says:

Region I got a little easier and harder.  Canadian moved up to Class 2A but Windthorst moves into the region from Division II.  The region already had Stratford and state runner up Stamford.   Mart which a pretty small Division I team (170 students) will head up Region III.   District 13 will be fun with Goldthwaite, the defending state champion Mason and San Saba (dropping from Class 2A DII).   Ganado and Shiner are set to fight it out again in district 15.   Again Carl did a great job of eliminating the 4 team districts in which there were 3 of them.

Chris Says:

Region I is where the big shakeup happens.  Windthorst will look to stay a contender amid the likes of the "fords" - Stamford and Stratford.  Region IV is as likely to produce State Championship finalists as any region.

Don't forget about the LIVE UIL Realignment Chat as they new districts are announced. Come participate on February 2nd at 9:00am.  Post your comments here or call the voicemail line 713-568-6361 to tell the state what you think about the proposed realignment.
