2012 Coaching Change: Clyde Bulldogs
Old Head Coach: David Ritchey -- Leaving for 2A Lamesa. He led the Bulldgs to a 15-16-0 record over the last 3 seasons.
New Head Coach: Rocky Smart -- From 1A Seymour where he led the Panthers to a 27-11-0 record over the last 3 seasons. Before coming to Seymour, Smart was a head coach at 1A Nazareth where he led the Swifts to a 21-5 record over 2 seasons. His career coaching record is now 48-16-0. Smart is a 1994 graduate of Clyde.
Team News: The Bulldogs now have 3 consecutive 5 win seasons. They will move to District 4-2A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Breckenridge, Comanche, Dublin, Eastland, Merkel and Tuscola Jim Ned.
