Lytle Brings In Daniel Gomez From Mexia

2012 Coaching Change: Lytle Pirates

Old Head Coach: Robbie Garza -- Leaving after leading the Pirates for the past 7 years to an overall 30-44 record. He is the all-time winningest coach in Lytle history.

New Head Coach: Daniel Gomez -- Was the offensive coordinator at Mexia last year. He has also been an assistant coach at PSJA Memorial. This will be his first head coaching job.

Team News: The Pirates are on a 4 year losing streak going 11-29. They will move to district 29-3A from district 27-3A. The other schools in the district will be Carrizo Springs, Crystal City, Devine, Hondo and Pearsall.
