Moody’s Move To Class 2A Will Be With A New Head Coach

2012 Coaching Change: Moody Bearcats
Old Head Coach: John Ward -- Leaving after leading the Bearcats for 1 season going 7-5. His other head coaching jobs habe been at 1A Thrall where he led the Tigers for 2 seasons going 14-9. Before going to Thrall he was the head coach at 1A McCamey.
New Head Coach: Wade Wilson -- From 1A White Deer where he led the Bucks for the past 6 years to an overall 33-32 record.
Team News: The Bearcats won their first playoff game in 30 years last season. They also ended an 11 year losing streak. The Will be moving up to Class 2A in District 11-2A Division II with the last UIL re-alignment. They were in Class 12-1A Division I. The other schools in the district will be Bruceville-Eddy, Buffalo, Centerville, Crawford, Hearne, Riesel and Rosebud-Lott.
