West Columbia Promotes OC Randy Lynch

2012 Coaching Change: West Columbia Roughnecks

Old Head Coach: Leland Surovik -- Leaving for 4A Texas City. He led the Roughnecks for the past 5 years to an overall 34-21 record.

New Head Coach: Randy Lynch -- Was the Roughnecks offensive coordinator. He has also been an assistant at Brazoswood and Sweeny.

Team News: The Roughnecks have gone 25-3 with 2 consecutive trips to the state semifinals over the last 2 seasons. They will move over to Class 3A District 24 from District 29 with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be La Marque, Stafford, Sweeny and Columbia.
