2012 Coaching Change: Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns

Old Head Coach: Don Price — Leaving for 4A Houston C.E. King. He led the Longhorns to a 3-17-0 record over the last 2 years. He was also the head coach at Barbers Hill for 12 years going 99-35. His other head coaching job was at Maypearl. His all-time coaching record is 108-65-1.

New Head Coach: Kane Harris -- Was an assistant at 5A Midland Lee. He has also been an assistant at Huntsville.

Team News: The Longhorns have had 8 consecutive non winning seasons going 22-56. They will be staying in District 21-3A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Bridge City, Buna, Orangefield, Silsbee, Hardin-Jefferson and West Orange-Stark.
