2012 Coaching Change: De Leon Bearcats

Old Head Coach: Brandon Franklin -- Leaving after leading the Bearcats for 1 season going 3-7. Before taking over he was a defensive coordinator at Comanche.

New Head Coach: David Yeager — From 3A Llano where he led the Yellow Jackets to a 43-36 record over the last 7 seasons. He leaves as the 2nd all-time winningest coach in Yellow Jackets history.

Team News: 2011 ended a 3 year winning streak where the Bearcats went 25-8. They will be moving to District 5-1A Division I from 7-1A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Goldthwaite, Hico, San Saba and Santo.
