2012 Coaching Change: Gladewater Sabine Cardinals

Old Head Coach: Jerry Baker -- Retiring after leading the Cardinals for the past 4 years to an overall 7-33 record. He has also been an assistant at Lewisville, Longview Spring Hill and Daingerfield.

New Head Coach: Mark Comfort -- Was an assistant at Longview, Longview Pine Tree and Longview Spring Hill.

Team News: The Cardinals have not made the playoffs in since 1985. They will remain in District 9-2A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Big Sandy Harmony, Jefferson, Tatum, Troup and White Oak.
