2012 Coaching Change: Nueces Canyon Panthers

Old Head Coach: Daniel Johnson -- Leaving for 2A Teague. He led the Panthers for 1 year going 7-4. Before taking over at Nueces Canyon, he was an assistant at Pittsburgh and Clarksville.

New Head Coach: Greg Voyles -- From 1A Brackettville Brackett where he led the Tigers over the past 7 years to an overall 42-35 record. He was an assistant and defensive coordinator for the Tigers for 6 years before taking over as head coach.

Team News: 2011 ended a 10 year losing streak for the Panthers. They will be staying in District 15-1A Division II with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be D’Hanis, Leakey, Medina, Rocksprings and Sabinal.

Coaching changes for 2012.
