2012 Coaching Change: Ore City Rebels

Old Head Coach: Bobby Chadwick — Leaving for 3A Longview Spring Hill. He led the Rebels over the past 4 years to an overall 20-21 record.

New Head Coach: Tracy Blankenship -- Worked as an assistant principal at a middle school last year. He was the head coach at White Oak from 2003-2010 leading the Roughnecks to a 40-45-0 record.

Team News: The Rebels 6-5 record last year was their best in 15 seasons. They will be moving to District 9-2A Division II from 8-2A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be DeKalb, New Diana, Elysian Fields, Hughes Springs, Linden-Kildare, Omaha Paul Pewitt and Waskom.
