2012 Coaching Change: Bonham Purple Warriors

Old Head Coach: Dale Trompler -- Leaving to be teacher at Canadian. He led the Purple Warriors for the past 3 years to a 9-21 record. Coach Trompler was a Bonham native who graduated at there.

New Head Coach: Cody Bounds -- From 1A Lindsay where he led the Knights over the past 6 years to an overall 48-27 record. He was an assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at Prosper before taking over at Lindsay.

Team News: The Purple Warriors have gone 14-46 since 2006 but 9-11 over the past 2 seasons. They will be moving to District 12-3A from 10-3A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Anna, Melissa, Nevada Community and Princeton.
