2012 Coaching Change: Shepherd Pirates
Old Head Coach: Bob Jones -- Leaving after leading the Pirates for the past 3 years to an overall 7-22 record. Before coming to Shepherd, he was the head coach at Aldine from 2004-2008 going 22-28. Before that he was also the head coach at Fort Worth Dunbar.
New Head Coach: Chip Keel -- Was a former assistant with the Pirates.
Team News: The Pirates have had 6 consecutive non-winning seasons. They will be staying in District 22-3A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Cleveland, Tarkington, Coldspring-Oakhurst, Huffman Hargrave, Liberty and Splendora.
