Mike Says: The Mustangs are looking to rebuild this year especially on the defensive side where they only have one starter coming back. They will have to rely on the younger players but their JV went 2-8 last year so they will need lots of improvement. Look for them to go 4-6 or 5-5 in the regular season and fight Irving MacArthur or Irving Nimitz for that last playoff spot.

Chris Says: Grapevine is in a monster of a district with Euless Trinity and Colleyville Heritage and aren't in any danger of stealing the district title this season. That said, they have a legitimate shot at playoff this season if teams like Irving MacArthur & Irving Nimitz slip up.
