Mike Says: The Mustangs are always a solid team. Their defense looks good with DB's Strake and Clemens leading the way. Look for them to finish the year with their 4th straight 9 win season and another trip to the Regionals.

Chris Says: Gary Koch has a lot of experience returning to a team that was very solid last season. Last year they beat the teams they were supposed to and lost to the usual suspects as well. While I don't expect them to shock the Houston area football scene, I do expect them to field an excellent squad once again. Katy will likely take district 19-5A, but there is no reason the Mustangs shouldn't be around two or three rounds into the playoffs.
