Mike Says: The Loboes came close to their first title game since 1948 last season. Their defense was solid as they held opponents to 14.8 ppg. This season, both offensive and defensive lines will be good led by DL Armendariz and the linebacking core will be very good led by Scharf. They will also feature one of the best kickers in Mendoza. Look for them to go 7-3 or 8-2 in the regular season. The game against Abilene Wylie will probably be for the district title.

Chris Says: Monahans is one of those teams that has been red hot recently and last year they almost went all the way. The bring back an absolute ton of experience so should be loaded again and ready for another great run. Expect the Loboes to put up a great fight for the district title and do well come playoff time.
