* Have had 9 consecutive 7+ win seasons

  • Mike Says: The Huskies are always a power in the El Paso area. This year will be no different as they return 16 starters from last years Area playoff team. They will be very strong on defense led by District Defensive MVP, Max Flores, and pretty good on offense with QB Gonzales returning. Look for them to sweep the district and go 9-1 or 10-0 in the regular season. Will this be the El Paso team that can compete with the states best when it gets 3 or 4 rounds into the playoffs?
  • Chris Says: El Paso Chapin brings back the bulk of their starting lineups on both sides of the ball.  They have a strong tradition that will continue this year.  Expect the Huskies to take District 1-4A and look strong headed into the playoffs.  They still have yet to prove that an El Paso team can be serious threat for a championship, but will have another great season.
