* They will be dropping down from Division I to Division II

Mike Says: The Panthers played 8 games last year that were decided by 8 or fewer points. The defense was key in those games as they held opponents to just over 17 points per game. This year they will need more of the same but they drop into a strong district even though they are going from division I to II. Look for them to go 6-4 or 5-5 in the regular season and battle Schulenburg for that 3rd playoff spot.

Chris Says: Blanco is in an absolute monster of a district with Schulenberg, Rogers and Lexington eating up the playoff positions. The Panthers do bring back some good experience, but some of the new guys are going to have to step up and help LB, Tyler Brown make some stops if they are going to avoid missing the playoffs entirely.
