Notes:
* Will be moving down to Division II and should do well after going 28-6 over the last 3 seasons

  • Mike Says: The Wolves will rely on their defense this season. They will be tested in pre-district when they take on one of the best in Class 1A Stamford. Look for them to go 7-3 or 8-2 in the regular season and come in 2nd behind Cisco in the district. After that they should go 1 or 2 rounds into the playoffs.
  • Chris Says: Colorado City has been doing well as a Division I team and the drop to Division II could mean even better things are ahead.  While they do not bring back many starters on offense, their defense boasts 8 returners.  The Wolves are not afraid to schedule and their battles against Crane and Stamford will let everyone know where they stand early on.  Frank Johnson's Wolves will have another 8+ win season and should be alive three rounds deep come playoff time.
