Enrollment: 852 -- 2nd largest in the district out of 5 schools

Coaches Comments: Experience will help but with the transition of a new head coach implementing new schemes may hinder the Pirates. District Outlook: Kaufman, Wills Point

Mike Says: The Pirates should make it back to the playoffs this year. On defense the front line will head up the unit while on offense the QB and RB positions will be highlighted. Look for them to go 6-4 or 5-5 for the regular season with a strong group of JV players coming up. They will probably come in 3rd in the district behind Wills Point and Kaufman.

Chris Says: Crandall is on the upside of a rebuilding swing. They don't return a lot of starters, but the Pirates bring back some proven talent on offense and some quality defensive experience as well. New Head Coach Todd John also adds some veterans of the Junior Varsity squad that went 9-1 last year. Expect Crandall to sneak into the playoffs and then continue their learning curve with an early exit.
