Notes:
* This year will be a lot tougher without the super skills of Trey Williams who was our 2011 5A Player Of The Year
* Listed #2 in Chris's Top Five Championship Stories

  • Mike Says: The Wildcats surprised everyone last year by becoming only the 2nd team in Texas High School Football History to win a state championship in their first playoff appearance. This year they return only 14 lettermen but with QB Hines leading the way, they will be a favorite to win a very tough district. Look for them to go 8-2 or 9-1 in the regular season and then advance 2 or 3 rounds into the playoffs. They will not surprise anyone this year so it will be very hard to sneak up on anyone.
  • Chris Says: Spring DeKaney had their coming out season last year as they rolled to a state championship while nobody was looking.  This season, the Wildcats will be taken seriously by everyone and not surprised when they start rolling up the W's.  They lost a lot to graduation, but last year's undefeated Junior Varsity players will fill in some gaps nicely.  Don't expect a state championship, but they will be a factor in the regional playoffs.
