Allen takes their first Fan Champs Award

Texas high school football fan championship awardThis weeks Texas High School Football Fan Champs Award was won by the Allen Eagles!

Once again the contest went down to the wire, but in the end, the difference maker for Allen was the twitter buzz surrounding what people thought was going to be another win last weekend.  They didn't win the game, but they did win the Fan Champs Award!

Once again, more than 50 teams across the state earned Fan Champs points and the totals were higher than ever.

A big shout out goes to all the schools around the state for doing their part week in and week out to support the GREATEST SPORT FROM THE THE GREATEST STATE - Texas high school football!!

Teams earn points in several ways:

  • Calling in audio support for their team to our fan feedback line 713-568-6361 (game reports, shoutouts to players or their school, you name it)
  • Sending in video from the game (as simple as a link to you YouTube video or other upload your video directly to LSG-TV)
  • Leaving comments here on the website
  • Sending photos from the game
  • Interacting with LSG on our facebook page (questions, comments, photos, poll participation etc.)
  • Interacting with LSG on our twitter (@LSGridiron - mentions, retweets, questions etc.)
  • Having your teammates PAST and PRESENT join The Brotherhood of Texas High School Football

In order to keep fans from "gaming the system," the point system is kept top secret!
