2013 Coaching Change: West Mesquite Wranglers
Old Head Coach: Mike Overton -- Leaving for 5A Mesquite Horn. He led the Wranglers to a 54-28 record over the past 7 seasons where his teams went to the playoffs in all seven years. Was also head coach at 3A Farmersville from 2002-2004 going 13-17. He has also been an assistant at Mequite.
New Head Coach: Jeff Neill -- Was the offensive coordinator for the Wranglers. He has also been an assistant at Rockwall, Irving MacArthur and previously with the Wranglers.
Team News: The Wranglers have had only 1 losing season in the last 9 years (5-6 in 2011).
