Mike Says: The Gobblers are in unfamiliar territory after going through their 2nd consecutive losing season. That has not happened since 1988 & 1989. They will be a very inexperienced team this year only bringing back 7 starters. Look for them to be around .500 in the regular season a make the playoffs in that 3rd or 4th playoff position.

Chris Says: Cuero has had a tough go of it the past couple seasons and 2012 started off particularly bad (losing 5 of the first 7 games.) Coach Travis Reeves will try to change the direction in his second season at the helm but will need the help of the few experience returning athletes. The Gobblers won't return to championship form overnight, but quite a few of their games last year were extremely close and that means, it could be a big swing in wins (in either direction.) Look for them to fight hard in pre-district but as that goes, so too will go their season.
