Notes:
* Have had 6 consecutive non-losing seasons

  • Mike Says: The Hawks maintained their winning streak during their first season of Class 5A last year with a 6-5 record. Expect about the same this year. They should go 5-5 or 6-4 in the regular season and fight Rockwall for that 4th playoff spot. They will have to rely on a group of JR's this year with QB Hoy, RB Henderson and OL Elbert leading the way.
  • Chris Says: Rockwall Heath lost a heartbreaker in the Bi-District playoff game last season but were clearly beaten every time they faced a top notch team.  (only one win last season came against a winning team) This season looks to be just as tough, but the Hawks bring back quite a bit of talent.  It will be a watershed year for the program.  Will Coach Moss lead them in their step up to the next level or will the team turn in another .500 season?  Moss is used to winning and will build on last season's results. Expect them to win 7 games in a tough district but make it into the playoffs.  Once there, two rounds or possibly three isn't out of the question.
