Mike Says: The Bulldogs had a great first year in 3A after being pretty competitive in 4A since 1979. This years team brings back 14 starters along with 17 all-district positions. They will have a very strong defense led by DB Benny Colbert. Look for them to go 9-1 or 10-0 with a big time match-up against Gilmer for the district title. Another trip to at least the Quarterfinals is in store for this year. They will probably match up with a very good Argyle team there. If they make it through there then Stephenville will probably be waiting in the semis.

Chris Says: Kilgore will be bringing back some talent and looks to improve on last years performance. It is hard to do since last year the Bulldogs did so well. Their loss to a really tough Gilmer team cost them the district title and their loss to Stephenville in the Semifinals ended their postseason run. Expect the Bulldogs to have a great year and be involved in two or three of the top games for 2013!
