Mike Says: The Eagles made their first championship appearance last year. It will be hard to replace QB Nic Shimonek but they bring back a lot of talent. Draylon Sterling is one of the better players in 2A both on offense and defense. Look for them to make it to the semifinals this year falling just short of back to back championship games.

Chris Says: Corsicana Mildred surprised me with the appearance in the title game last year. They graduated a lot of experience and even lost their coach. Coach Billy Dan Chambliess will take over the Eagles this year and frankly will have a hard time repeating or improving on last season. Sure, they will be good. They will take district again. They will be a strong playoff team - just not quite as strong as last season.
