Mike Says: The Knights just missed out on the playoffs last year when they lost their last 3 games of the year. This years team will rely on QB Jonathan Giles. Look for them to go 6-4 or 5-5 in the regular season and battle for that 4th playoff spot.

Chris Says: Fort Bend Elkins missed the playoffs when their defense imploded toward the end of the season. They don't bring back a lot of experience, but do bring a couple of all-district defensive players (Tobena Okeke & Jaylon Bowden.) If Coach Brantley can get this team to gel early and stay solid against the strong District 23-5A lineup, they could make a playoff run this year.
