  • Mike Says: The Highlanders are always a solid team year in and year out and last year was no exception. Expect more of the same this year especially with the return of superstar RB JR Patrick Carr. Look for them to go 8-2 or 7-3 in the regular season and then 2 or 3 rounds in the playoffs. Their record could be better but they play some of the state's best with contests against Katy, Skyline and Lufkin.
  • Chris Says: The Woodlands is one of those teams that is good year in and year out.  This year will be no different.  The Highlanders bring back a lot of talent on defense and key components on offense as well.  Coach Mark Schmid should be first or second in the district and then look for The Woodlands to be alive two or three rounds into postseason play.
