vs Whitehouse (2-0) (L 34-42)

  • CarthageMike Says: Carthage owns this series but Tyler Chapel Hill has won 2 of the last 3 in the battle of the Bulldogs. Carthage QB Blake Bogenschutz will lead their explosive offense in the air while Chapel Hill is averaging 368 yards rushing a game. Carthage has won big over 2 4A teams 87-45 while Chapel Hill beat up on Lindale (like Carthage did) but lost a close one to #1 4A Whitehouse. Carthage is set for another championship run. They will win but not by 24 points like last year. The CARTHAGE BULLDOGS win it 28-24!!
  • CarthageChris Says: I love when our game of the week teams have a game against the same team under their belts.  By the way both handled Lindale, it comes down to things like point spreads and location for me.  Carthage walloped Lindale on their own field and giving up less points than Tyler Chapel Hill did in their meeting.   Sure, I'm impressed that TCH hung in against Whitehouse before losing 42-34, but I have to go with what my spreadsheet tells me on this one.  The air attack of Bogenshutz will be too much to handle.  CARTHAGE BULLDOGS take the win 38-28!!!
  • CarthageLSG Intern Zach Says: What a tough couple of weeks for Chapel Hill. The Bulldogs dropped a close one last week to Whitehouse, and now have to deal with their namesake from Carthage. Those Bulldogs can beat you any which way on offense, with Blake Bogenschulz shamelessly slinging the ball downfield. Chapel Hill will have its day, but not this week. Carthage Bulldogs 45-35.
