  • Mike Says: The Rangers have improved in the win column in every year of their varsity history. They won 0 in 2010, 4 in 2011, 7 in 2012 and 8 last year. They will have a tough time though this year moving up to Class 5A. They only bring back 1 all-district player from last year. Look for them to win 3 or 4 regular season games and miss out on the playoffs.
  • Chris Says: Frisco's QB Jason Shelley was thrown into the fire as a Freshman last season and did an excellent job.  Most of the starters graduated and the Rangers move up to Class 5A.  You would think that all adds up to a dismal season for Lone Star.  I don't see the season as that hopeless, however.  I do think they will struggle to make it to the playoffs but if Coach Jeff Rayburn's newcomers step up they do have a chance for postseason.
