  • Mike Says: The Panthers are in need of rebuilding. Coach Hayes will be coming in after being the offensive coordinator at a very successful Athens team. The Panthers will struggle until he gets things turned around. Look for them to win 1 or 2 regular season games this year.
  • Chris Says: Coach Kevin Hayes takes over a team that hasn't had a lot of going for it recently.  We are talking only 2 winning seasons in the last 15 years.  Other than a new head coach the Panthers don't play a super tough schedule.  They do bring back 1/3 of their starters.  I really think it all comes down to Coach Hayes.  Will he convince these athletes that they are just as worthy of a W as their opponent?  Will he bring an expectation of success that they live up to?  I don't know.  Nobody involved has a great history of anything - but maybe, just maybe it all starts here.  No playoffs this year, but 3 or 4 wins would be considered a big success.
