Crowell WildcatsMike Says: May has been looking forward to this moment all year. Not only do they get another shot at the title, they get to play the team that beat them last year. Crowell comes in as the defending champion and they look as good if not better than they did last year. These teams had a tough common opponent in pre-district play in Calvert who is ranked #3 in Class 1A Division II. Crowell won their game 44-16 while May lost 21-26. May's first 2 games in the playoffs were not against great opponents in Tioga and Santa Anna...they won those by a combined score of 117-28. They them faced great competition in the Quarterfinals (#10 Gordon) and in the Semifinals (#6 Blum). Crowell faced a little tougher road after they beat Roscoe Highland in Bi-District. They played #11 Water Valley in the Regionals, #1 Ira in the Quarterfinals and #8 Turkey Valley in the Semifinals. Looking at all this, Crowell has the edge in a tough common opponent, a tougher road to get here and they knocked off the #1 team in Ira. May is looking to avenge last years loss. Its going to be a fun one but the WILDCATS win their 2nd in a row (over May) 71-60!!

Crowell WildcatsChris Says: Crowell's dismantling of a very tough Turkey Valley team in the Semi-finals was impressive on the heels of their win over #1 Ira.  That was all I needed to see.  WILDCATS take the win once again 68-45!!
