Katy TigersMike Says: Are you ready for round 3? Katy won this championship matchup 2 years ago, then Cedar Hill evened it up with a win last year. Katy will be playing in a state record 13th championship game. They will bring a great defense and a strong running game led by RB Rodney Anderson who has 2,509 yards. Cedar Hill will bring lots of speed led by RB Aca'cedric Ware who has 2,417 yards rushing and the player of the game last year WR Damarkus Lodge who has 1,118 yards receiving. I cannot wait for this one. We picked Cedar Hill in the pre-season. Katy is coming off a game where they had 10 penalties and 3 turnovers and still beat a very good Steele team. Katy will fix their issues. The TIGERS win it in exciting fashion 30-28!!

Katy TigersChris Says: This is a game I have been wanting to see and dreading all season.  Katy has been a team of destiny once again this year and about the only thing that could derail this run would be another matchup with Cedar Hill.  The Katy Tigers do not shy away from big games - in fact, as @Katyfootball tweeted, "Since the incoming freshmen class of 1991, every graduating class at KHS has played in at least 1 State Title game."  That is 23 years of KHS students getting to see their team in the title game!  For Cedar Hill, they are loaded, but it is Demarkus Lodge that impresses me the most.  If Texas Tech commit, Collin Wilder gets his way, Lodge will be shut down.  There are so many other weapons though that it will take a perfect game for either to win.  I had Katy ahead of Cedar Hill prior to the start of the season and still stick by that.  Katy's uncharacteristic lack of perfection last week was probably due to them looking ahead to this matchup.  Coach Gary Joseph will not let that happen this week.  Expect another nail biter and instant classic.  Expect the TIGERS to get the win 48-45!!!

Who do you think will win?
